  6. and using a Way Cool trash icon by someone I don't remember...

  8. These resources can be used to replace the trash icon using resedit.
  9. These resources also change the finder to reflect the fact that you now have Nuclear Waste instead of a trash can.
  10. Included is a sound file of a 'ZAP' which could be used as an empty trash sound using  a sound utility like SoundMaster.

  13. Instructions:
  14. 1)  With ResEdit, copy all of the resources of Nuclear Waste System into a COPY of your System file.
  15. 2)  Copy all of the resources of Nuclear Waste Finder into a COPY of your Finder.
  16. 3)  Place "Nuke" with your other sound files (usually in your System file.)
  17. 4)  Select the "Nuke" sound for your "Empty Trash" option in SoundMaster or similar utility.
  18. 5)  Restart your Mac and hold down the Command & Option keys until you get the dialog box asking you if you want to rebuild your desktop.  You do.
